I'll Be Your Mirror

“I’ll Be Your Mirror” is a devotional of the process and importance of play in forming self-identity. Creating these children’s tea sets and play objects, which are lifted from the imaginative play of my childhood, celebrate the return to a new self that I sought after transitioning to motherhood. I hope to connect with the viewer by evoking a sense of nostalgia and the memory of play.
